[ It's been a longtime since Sheena's been on the network, but she's been a little busy doing that whole farming thing.
And training.
And working on something totally different.
It's that last one that has her hitting the airwaves with a huge smile and a curious expression. ]

For those who don't know me, my name's Sheena Fujibayashi, and I have a question.
I discovered a hobby a couple of months ago called crocheting--which seems like a great idea because of the cold weather. In fact, I've already got the basics down and made a couple of scarves.
[ More than a couple, since she's been making presents to hand out in a couple of weeks (like for a priest, a pope, a goddess, and a pony). ]
But that obviously isn't the question. The question is: are there others who do this and have some other things I can do? Like are there patterns for things like blankets and such? [ She winged it with the scarves but would like to try something more...coherent? ]

[ Oh, Abel. The place she had been in before coming here was a lot colder than this, but she's touched by his concern. ]
Thank, Abel, I will. And you do the same. But you know, if you and Alec need to, you can come over here when it's really cold and stay warm.
[ She keeps her fireplace going all the time: from embers to flames, so the place is somewhat warm. ]

[Abel recalled she told him she came from Alaska. And then she came from another world, her original one. Either way, she came from a cold place.]
I'm working on that, my dear Sheena. I hope to finish it. I don't think it will take me long because I will try to simplify the pattern and designs to make it easier.
[And if he ever finished that project, he will simply give her one when it's complete. He likes Sheena enough to give her so many presents, as she is one of the few friends in the valley he made and he always likes to make friends feel special about themselves.]
Really? That will be great! I have a fireplace of my own, so if you're cold yourself, you're free to come over. Alec tends to like hot cocoa with marshmallows, so if you feel like you want cocoa and coffee, I'll make a mug for you if you ever come over and we still have fruits and pies if you want some sweets.

Great minds think alike, huh? I sometimes think the simpler patterns are better--prettier.
[ And Sheena has no problem returning the favor on gifts as well as considering him a good friend here.
Her smile widens. ]
I knew I liked you for a reason! Hot chocolate is always a good thing! And I'll return the offer of that and sweets when you come over, too! Maybe even some hot apple cider, too. In fact, would you two like to come over today?
