[At this point, people have probably seen a few miqo'te by now. At first, Irhya keeps her face hidden, but seems to have a change of heart shortly thereafter, brushing some hair out of her face as she adjusts the frame. For coming from a world that is so technologically limited in the face of -- this... she sure has adapted quickly.
There is something apprehensive about the way her eyes dart back and forth, about the initial pause before she starts speaking, but it's easily forgettable once she finds her stride.]
Let me just preface this by saying that where I'm from, animal husbandry is forbidden. Fear of upsetting the forest and all that... though frankly I've always thought the Elementals need to stop being such temperamental little shites in the first place. Anyway, dairy is understandably scarce because of it, and imports are scarce as well as prohibitively expensive, so most of the populace lives on grown produce and wild game.
Which brings me to my problem. I have no interest in playing around in the dirt, but I suppose raising animals doesn't sound all that bad. Especially when I, personally, have a lot more use for wool and milk than most things that come from plants. But I also don't know the first damn thing about it.
[After she confesses, the top half of a sheep becomes visible at the bottom of the frame, and she leans down a little to stroke it. There also seems to be something black and furry skulking about on a hay bale behind her; a cat, most likely.]
So! I normally don't do this, but I would like to propose a trade. If there's anyone willing to help me with my little problem -- showing me the basics, hanging around to lend a hand, whatever works -- I can probably craft a few things in return. Tools, clothing, medicines... actually, it's probably easier just to pitch what you need from me and I'll decide case-by-case. I'm not yet familiar with what kinds of materials might be available here, but I think we can make something work out, right?
Just one rule: if you end up getting indecisive on me, I'm defaulting to cooking.
[She makes as if to end the recording, but hesitates, struck with a second thought.]
Oh, and one more thing. If anyone here happens to be a native to Eorzea, I have a few questions for you.

[…Yda may have some Feelings about all of that.]
I could probably help out! [Or, well, try to.] I don't know that much of animal husbandry, but I could learn!
[She tilts her head.] Well- I'm from Eorzea! I'm… well, I don't always get the latest news, but I can try to answer any questions you've got.

I somehow thought you of all people might agree. Thank you.
[That must seem totally bizarre. Maybe she ought to try and tone down the awkward presumptions a bit... Still, she can't help but smile a little bit.]
If you're also in need of help, perhaps we could pool our resources? It's easier than trying to tackle it alone.
As for my questions... ah, hells, I don't even know where to begin anymore. Mmm... how about we start with the last few things you remember of Eorzea, right before this fine mess?

Oh? Well- you're welcome! [Honestly, she doesn't think it's that big a secret, is it? Though- admittedly she's not familiar with this lady. She seems nice enough, though!]
I think that'd be good! I… well, it's still an adjustment!
Oh- yes, that seems reasonable. Let's see…. I was east of Baelsar's Wall, so I don't know how much you'll recognise- unless you've been that way, too? [It doesn't seem likely, but- you never know.] I'd been watching troop movements- nothing too much out of the ordinary around the Fringes, just the usual patrols- but there was definitely some activity rising around the Wall.

[If it's what it sounds like, she should know what Irhya's getting at right away... right? She and Papalymo had spent so long undercover in Thanalan that it's probably a better angle to take than Nidhogg or Ishgard.]
And if not that, then -- tell me, was Papalymo not with you?
[Surely at least one of those topics will hit the mark... or graze it, at worst. Hopefully.]
no subject
[Those would not leave much of an impression, no.
Her face- what can be seen, at least- falls at that question, and she rubs a hand over the back of the other.]
Papalymo's- he's with the others- um, the Scions. He's fine, though!

But based on what happened with Bolormaa, the possibility things happened differently with her remains. How dramatically remains to be seen, but...]
Is he?
[He certainly wasn't fine last time she checked, but it's not the sort of thing she wants to just drop on her. How to approach this tactfully...?]
If the Griffin rings no bells for you, then -- what about Ilberd? Or perhaps Shinryu? I don't mean to turn this into a silly guessing game, but I'm curious about why your memory seems a bit different from mine... and I don't want to accidentally step on any sore spots, should there be any.
no subject
[Well, or more. She seems more cheerful saying that, at least.]
Well- it's more that I haven't met him. But- someone using that, it's hard to miss! Ilberd rings a bell- Shinryu doesn't, I've never heard of that. [she tilts her head, humming.] I don't really know, either- but maybe. Maybe something's different about the Eorzeas we came from- Bolormaa mentioned something- have you met her? She mentioned something along those lines. [she shrugs.] It might still happen, if we don't know where they are.
no subject
[Something is definitely off, though. In a last ditch effort to maybe hit some more pertinent information, Irhya takes a greater risk this time.]
If something is different, I think my next question should confirm it without a doubt. So, tell me of Lyse, if you don't mind -- is she alive and well? If not, what of her fate?
no subject
She was fine last I heard, too- with Papalymo. If she's not okay- if they're not okay- [she scowls, and while there isn't quite energy gathering around her, there's something- like clouds building over the horizon.] -then whatever caused it won't be. [But- she blinks- and settles again.] But. She's fine in your timeline, right?
[…something Irhya might notice
or might have already, I'm sorryis that Yda has a partially exposed birthmark that looks a lot like Rhalgr's mark. weird.]
