Hello,

I am Era Ra. Like many of you here I hail from a parallel version of Eorzea.

I have been here since the festival but have not been very social. My apologies for this. I have been recovering from circumstances that took place before finding myself here.

I have a grey kitten who likes to explore. He is perhaps five moons old now, and he wears a blue collar. He answers to Estinyan most of the time. Please be kind to him if you see him. He means well but his curiosity seems to outweigh his common sense by a large margin.

I am a skilled goldsmith, leatherworker, and botanist. If you have need of my services please do not hesitate to contact me.

{ on the farm }
Mei's arrival is quiet and uneventful. She heads to her new farm, marveling at the sight of the tall trees and abundant bushes there. The place needs some work, but Mei doesn't mind rolling up her sleeves. After setting her things down in the house, she gets started pulling weeds and dragging branches into a brush pile. All the while, a flying drone hovers nearby "helping" in its own way. Mainly by cheering Mei on or occasionally nudging a branch. Despite the hard work, she's far from unapproachable, should anyone stop by.

{ in town }
Pelican Town is a quaint, small town that Mei likes the looks of immediately. She's used to the extremes of Chinese mega cities and the isolation of snowy mountains. This is closer to the latter, but there's still plenty to see and to do. She checks out Pierre's, the beach, and the museum before winding her way back towards home, and she's happy to stop and chat along the way.

Alright, to anyone who was looking for cuttings or saplings from my apple tree, I have several ready and potted to bring home. Please come to [INSERT FARM HERE] at your earliest convenience if you still want them. Any spares will be planted here to continue the growth of the orchard.

Speaking of which, I've branched out- [Martel] into oranges as well. Thank you to everyone who's purchased one of my apples or anything else from my farm, I wouldn't have been able to do it without you. Certainly not so quickly. Next on my list is peaches, so watch for those!

Anyway, aside from orchard-related news, I've been thinking about something. I've encountered quite a surprising amount of people with abilities and skills related to healing and medical treatment in general, several of us from very different disciplines. [From pure technology to magical healing hair, the valley's got it all, it seems.]

Yet, to the best of my knowledge there's no real organization among us. Allow me to be the first to advocate for everyone who has any sort of medical skill to come together, have a meeting, perhaps, where we can share information and let each other know who we are, where we're located, and how to get in contact with us. We certainly can't take over the hospital itself, but with a bit of effort, we might be able to head off many difficulties, and I'm sure we have much to learn from each other.

[With things being as they are as of late and "Violet" not really getting anywhere with the whole trying to work out who she is thing going on she's been doing her best to distract herselfs from the stresses and strains of farm life...namely raising mushrooms, trying to avoid another anxiety attack from Taako and definitely avoiding mineshafts for the time being.

Maybe it's time to reach out? Maybe address more people by making her face known around the valley. And as such she fiddles with her device and attempts to make herself known somehow.]

Uh Hi, hello... don't mind me!

I uhm...I've been in the valley for a few weeks now and still no luck in finding out anything about who I am or where I came from. So I was planting mushrooms as you do and a great thought came to me! What's the one thing all of us have to have in common...?

Families! We all must have come from families of some kind, right? So...[She adjusts herself and tucks one of her bangs behind her ear and coughs gently.] maybe, I thought--

I thought if you could tell me about your families that maybe... just maybe I might remember what mine's like.

[ Have a confused ninja on your screens, fellow farmers! Because one second, she's, well--dead. And the next, she's bouncing along on a bus headed to Martel-knows-where.

Okay, a farm. And that very farm can be seen behind Sheena, and from the size and buildings, one can see it's a Standard Farm.

Nothing too big for our ninja. ]

Well, at least this thing doesn't make me choose an alias. [ There's a hint of wry relief in that statement. As she speaks and moves the camera around, it would become apparent that her clothes don't fit her too well--they're pretty loose. And somewhat tattered.

Especially the trailing ends of what appears to be a huge pink bow sneaking out from under her dark purple jacket--which is still closed up despite the heat. ]

Hello, everyone! My name is Sheena Fujibayashi, and I just arrived here! What was that thing, anyway? There wasn't anything like that where I was last, though it kinda looked like an EC. [ Yep, has no idea what a bus is, but can handle the jPad like a pro. ] I'm not too sure about what exactly is going on, but I guess I have a farm now?

[ And she'll just point over her shoulder. ]

I've never run a farm--though I did help with the herb patches back in Mizuho! So, I can definitely grow plants. [ She's kind of wistful about that--like she hasn't seen a plant for a long time. ] I'm not sure where to start, though. Any advice?

[ She starts thanking everyone but stops. ]

Oh. One more thing. I guess we can leave any time? But do you know if we go back home or to the very last place we were?

[At this point, people have probably seen a few miqo'te by now. At first, Irhya keeps her face hidden, but seems to have a change of heart shortly thereafter, brushing some hair out of her face as she adjusts the frame. For coming from a world that is so technologically limited in the face of -- this... she sure has adapted quickly.

There is something apprehensive about the way her eyes dart back and forth, about the initial pause before she starts speaking, but it's easily forgettable once she finds her stride.]

Let me just preface this by saying that where I'm from, animal husbandry is forbidden. Fear of upsetting the forest and all that... though frankly I've always thought the Elementals need to stop being such temperamental little shites in the first place. Anyway, dairy is understandably scarce because of it, and imports are scarce as well as prohibitively expensive, so most of the populace lives on grown produce and wild game.

Which brings me to my problem. I have no interest in playing around in the dirt, but I suppose raising animals doesn't sound all that bad. Especially when I, personally, have a lot more use for wool and milk than most things that come from plants. But I also don't know the first damn thing about it.

[After she confesses, the top half of a sheep becomes visible at the bottom of the frame, and she leans down a little to stroke it. There also seems to be something black and furry skulking about on a hay bale behind her; a cat, most likely.]

So! I normally don't do this, but I would like to propose a trade. If there's anyone willing to help me with my little problem -- showing me the basics, hanging around to lend a hand, whatever works -- I can probably craft a few things in return. Tools, clothing, medicines... actually, it's probably easier just to pitch what you need from me and I'll decide case-by-case. I'm not yet familiar with what kinds of materials might be available here, but I think we can make something work out, right?

Just one rule: if you end up getting indecisive on me, I'm defaulting to cooking.

[She makes as if to end the recording, but hesitates, struck with a second thought.]

Oh, and one more thing. If anyone here happens to be a native to Eorzea, I have a few questions for you.

[ Yes, yes we know. That's a lot of hair. Rapunzel's trying to set the pad up in such a way she can prop it up and talk to you all that way. It's a little difficult, but she manages, with the help of one (1) Pascal. ]

Hi! Um. Hello? I'm not sure how formal we're being on here. But! I have a question, and I would've posted it on the board, but it's sort of...a weird request, I guess.

Does anyone know how to braid? Really well? I mean, a lot of people know how to braid, but are also pretty good at lifting things? Sometimes my hair gets pretty heavy.

I just am having a hard time getting around town, and I've even tripped a few people! Maybe not a great thing to tell everyone, I know, but...

It'd be really wonderful if you could help! I'm willing to bake, I have a few trees you can help yourself from, ummm.

I'm also looking for paint.

Because these need a lot more color on them. I can paint for you as well, if you'd like! Please let me know.
