[At this point, people have probably seen a few miqo'te by now. At first, Irhya keeps her face hidden, but seems to have a change of heart shortly thereafter, brushing some hair out of her face as she adjusts the frame. For coming from a world that is so technologically limited in the face of -- this... she sure has adapted quickly.
There is something apprehensive about the way her eyes dart back and forth, about the initial pause before she starts speaking, but it's easily forgettable once she finds her stride.]
Let me just preface this by saying that where I'm from, animal husbandry is forbidden. Fear of upsetting the forest and all that... though frankly I've always thought the Elementals need to stop being such temperamental little shites in the first place. Anyway, dairy is understandably scarce because of it, and imports are scarce as well as prohibitively expensive, so most of the populace lives on grown produce and wild game.
Which brings me to my problem. I have no interest in playing around in the dirt, but I suppose raising animals doesn't sound all that bad. Especially when I, personally, have a lot more use for wool and milk than most things that come from plants. But I also don't know the first damn thing about it.
[After she confesses, the top half of a sheep becomes visible at the bottom of the frame, and she leans down a little to stroke it. There also seems to be something black and furry skulking about on a hay bale behind her; a cat, most likely.]
So! I normally don't do this, but I would like to propose a trade. If there's anyone willing to help me with my little problem -- showing me the basics, hanging around to lend a hand, whatever works -- I can probably craft a few things in return. Tools, clothing, medicines... actually, it's probably easier just to pitch what you need from me and I'll decide case-by-case. I'm not yet familiar with what kinds of materials might be available here, but I think we can make something work out, right?
Just one rule: if you end up getting indecisive on me, I'm defaulting to cooking.
[She makes as if to end the recording, but hesitates, struck with a second thought.]
Oh, and one more thing. If anyone here happens to be a native to Eorzea, I have a few questions for you.

[It still sticks with her stubbornly that those Warriors of Darkness, for all intents and purposes, willingly killed themselves in order to transcend. Using the Echo, just as Zenos had said much later.
"Transcend" is a word that has been thrown around a lot lately, come to think of it.]
That in itself answers one of the questions I'd had. Your existence alone is one thing that is different from how I remember it... and yet, here you are, as real as anyone else.
...I apologize if I touched any nerves, by the way. About Minfilia.

[ Alas, Bolormaa doesn't know much about that. She split from Minfilia after Minfilia was taken, and was born into a 2.0 world - but she still feels so much pain. So much sorrow, for what'd been lost. ]
It's fine, Lady Pendhula. I-- understand. I'm made of her, as I said - and she's far too... she's a good woman. I wish we'd gotten to meet for longer. [ There's such a longing in her voice, before she turns to smile. Bolormaa can explain. She can do this. ] Ah-- my name is Bolormaa Waters-Sagahl. I am not quite sure how close my Shard is to yours - if it mirrors it. I doubt it - mine is unique, due to the deeds Urianger pulled. But there are many that would be like yours, I imagine - only differing in which Warrior of Light was awoken.

I must give you credit for jumping right to the heart of my concern, at least. It's just like I saw before, then. It seems like, for whatever reason, Eorzea in particular is fractured in a way others' homes seem mostly impervious to. We know of each other, and yet...
[It's sort of a sad thought, how disconnected they end up being despite having the same roots. But that Bolormaa is a completely fresh face to her makes it a little easier, at least. On that count, she manages not to falter after her moment of thought.]
Made of her, you say, but you are also a completely separate entity. And I'm sure there must be some core differences outside of the physical aspects too, right? If you're worrying about comparing yourself to her too much, don't. I think time will help solidify things for you.

[ Even now, she's optimistic. Even now, she carries a warm smile. ]
It's a little hard not to. She's-- well, we see each other as sisters, even if we barely met. But I am quite different - not just because I'm an Au Ra. For one - she never crafted, did she? Far too busy aiding you Scions.

[...Ah. Probably shouldn't go that far. For a second, she turns pale, and then shakes her head.]
Never mind, actually. Even if we're no longer in the same world, I still think about them a lot.
Oh, you craft? What sorts of things? Gear makeovers ended up being Tataru's domain, but I think she does the sewing parts and has others help her with metalworking and such.

[ But, a distraction! Bolormaa laughed a little, embarrassed. ] Well, it began when I wished to see if I could turn a Carbuncle into another form. Those kind of things required me to learn to make mammets, and I couldn't let them remain naked, so I turned to making them clothing... then I wished to give them homes of their own-- so I suppose I make a little bit of everything.

Is that to say you have an army of them back home?
no subject
But, yes, I do. I brought a second house for them - in Shirogane? [ yes i have a shirogane house for bolormaa ] I-- they have souls. So they deserve a place of their own. Even if some of them won't stop fighting - I think G'raha got quite the injury when he tried to calm the wind-up Chimera... I think I have a complete collection of unique designs.

[Then again, sometimes Irhya wonders if Gigi won't just rise up and attack his creators someday given the things he's prone to spouting off.]
Perhaps that's your cue to start repopulating the place with automatons, then? Space is one thing we're certainly not lacking here, after all. It kind of makes me want to look into just what is typically used to power such things, if not the sources we're accustomed to...

[ But she digresses. ] That would be lovely - to have them running around my library! Oh... I wish to open up a library, with books from every shard - and every world beyond. A sign we were here. And if there were mammets... it would help others, too!
